Through
Relaxed Homeschoolers of NH, I found a great dance class for Hayzel.
Its called Dance Around the World and its a three-part series of International dance classes that run for 8 weeks each term. We are currently doing part I which focuses on European countries. The dance teacher Dorina is a folk dancer from Romania with over 15 years of experience. Each class includes a warm up, two dances, a small geography lesson, and samples of dishes or snacks from the country of the week.
We had our first class during Week 4 and the country of the week was Romania.
I’m sorry for the blurry pictures. I didn’t use my flash because I didn’t want to distract the kids.

| Warm up! |
| Watching a video on the dance they were going to be learning. |
| Paying close attention. |
| Look at those happy feet go! |
| They got to try placinta for snack*. |
| Dorina dressed up in traditional Romanian clothes. |
| Romanian words guessing game. |
| Quick geography lesson |
| A final performance. Look at all that giggling! |
I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted because I joined in on the fun for most of the dancing.
Hayzel had a great time and is looking forward to his next class.
