Children’s Museum of Boston

On September 5 (our second day of school), Hayzel and I went to the Children’s Museum as a way to celebrate a brand new school year. I had originally planned to take the train into Boston as an extra special treat, but the forecast showed for thunderstorms all day, so we just drove in.

I was surprised by how packed the museum was. I thought it’d be less populated because everyone had gone back to school. I didn’t take into consideration  that an indoor place is where all the nannies and their charges flock to. Hayzel spent a good 2 hours roaming the museum, and as he always says, “That was fun, mom!”
The weather man got it wrong, because by noon the rain stopped and the sun came outSarcastic smile. We had a quick lunch outside before heading home in time to beat the rush hour traffic.
Once we got home, we did a quick math lesson reviewing Place Values.
