At the end of September we met up with some local homeschoolers for a tour of an apple orchard.
Apple Annies is just about the cutest orchard I’ve ever seen. They are a family-run business about 40 minutes from where we live. The daughter of the owner “Apple Emma” gave us a great presentation on all the work it takes to grow apples from planting to picking.
Then she gave us a tour of the orchard including some a visit to some of the animals they keep.
We ended the tour with a taste of freshly squeeze apple cider.
