See Science Center and Native American Tales

On Thursday, Hayzel and I went to the See Science Center in Manchester, NH.  We got a museum pass from our local library, so we had free admission. The science center consist of 2 floors of interactive exhibits based on science, math, and technology. They also have the largest permanent Lego display made to scale in the world. We were there for 2 entertaining hours and I’m sure we will be back again.

Hayzel got to try a moonwalk exhibit, where it simulates what it would feel like to walk on the moon. Check it out:

The Lego project represents Manchester's Amoskeag Millyard as it might have looked circa 1900. The Amoskeag Manufacturing Company was commonly recognized as the largest textile manufacturer in the world by 1915. The Amoskeag mill complex spanned over a mile on the east side of the Merrimack River and half a mile on the west side. This model represents a portion of the east side, along with part of downtown Manchester, the city that the Amoskeag company helped to build.”- See Science Center
