As of the first of the year, Hayzel’s homeschooling schedule is 5 days a week for 3 hours each day. Days off are taken when needed. We took a week off in January because Dad was home on vacation and school was impossible. Everyday was play play play with Daddy. He had the time of his life and going back to our regular schedule was tough-for the first 5 minutes. Hayzel loves “doing” school. I’ve come up with a modified Kindergarten curriculum for him. His subjects include Math, Language Arts, Geography, Character Education, and Penmanship. I will describe these subjects in full at a later post. For now I will just quickly post some pics of what we’ve been doing this month. Hopefully I will be caught up with this blog by the end of the week…….we’ll see.
