On Monday mornings while I am at school, Hayzel stays with Tania, C and J. Since Tania home schools too, Hayzel fits right in and is able to do most of his daily work there. Today he practiced his addition.
He usually has a hard time sitting still while at home, but for some reason he is a bit more controlled under Tania's watchful eye which works just fine for me.
When I got home we decided to head to the park for lunch and a nature walk. Here's how that went:
| The customary "before we leave and always interesting to look at" pic |
| Lunch Time |
| "Aww mom.." |
| Almost time for the walk. Getting our tools ready. |
| the trail. |
| Looking at the squirrel's "cupboard". |
| "DIRT!" Always fascinating. |
| This kid doesn't back down from a dare! |
Back at home, we continued our Thanksgiving crafts with C and J. With the help of this book,
I showed the kids who the Pilgrims where, how they looked, and what they did. I found this Thanksgiving Craft
here and each kid made their own Pilgrim puppet.
| We call him John Smith. |
That's it for today.
Tomorrow we're looking forward to Scientific Terrific at Imagine That, where the kids will be making play dough!
Stay Tuned!
